Bali The Asian World's Last Remaining Paradise
I have a long list of places I want to visit, many of which are beach destinations, but Bali is at the top of that list. I've always loved the sun, sand, and sea since I was a kid. I couldn't wait for Memorial Day because it meant the beaches would be open. I've been to some amazing places, including O'ahu, Maui, Bora Bora, Roatan, Mauritius, and Tahiti, so I can't complain, but Bali has always piqued my interest.
Bali's grace and charm have earned this tiny Indonesian island numerous accolades and nicknames over the years, including Island of the Gods, The Last Paradise, Land of a Thousand Temples, and Morning of the World.
Its varied landscape of hills and mountains, rugged coastlines and sandy beaches, lush rice terraces and barren volcanic hillsides, all providing a picturesque backdrop to its colorful, deeply spiritual, and one-of-a-kind culture, stakes a serious claim to be paradise on Earth.
